When is bespoke software the right choice?
When an important workflow cannot be supported reliably by existing products, or disconnected tools create costly manual work. We first assess whether configuration or integration can meet the need. Bespoke development is appropriate when the benefits of a tailored system justify implementation, ownership and ongoing maintenance.
What can the delivery include?
Internal applications, customer portals, APIs, document workflows and integrations with existing business systems. We define data models, access roles and failure handling alongside the interface. Websites and web interfaces can form part of a wider solution; the starting point is the business capability the system must provide.
How do we control scope and handover?
Discovery establishes the users, boundaries and acceptance criteria. We deliver in reviewable increments and agree testing, migration and release requirements before rollout. Source-code access, intellectual property, documentation and maintenance responsibilities are specified in the project agreement rather than assumed.
